VING Wins Thailand’s National Innovation Award 2025 — Six Years of Passion and Progress
“From Blisters to Breakthroughs — Every Step of Yours Becomes Our Innovation.”
From a Painful Run to a National Innovation
It all started with a small but defining moment. During an overseas marathon, Way Vatee Vichiennit, the founder of VING Thailand, suffered painful blisters from his running shoes.
Out of desperation, he bought a simple pair of sandals from a roadside stall — and surprisingly, finished the marathon.
That unexpected experience sparked the creation of VING, a Thai brand that redefines running footwear with the world’s first Marathon Sandal — a design that’s both truly runnable and genuinely recovery-focused.
Six Years of Relentless Innovation
Over six years, VING has continuously improved its materials, comfort, and design — driven by real feedback from beginner runners, nurses, medical professionals, long-hour workers, and those with plantar fasciitis.
Every version has been tested, refined, and built to deliver two things:
Freedom to move naturally (Zero Drop Concept)
Support that helps the feet recover faster after long runs
This is the spirit behind Recovery Innovation by VING —
born from true experiences, powered by genuine care.
Recognized with the 2025 National Innovation Award (Economic Contribution)
In 2025, VING Thailand proudly received the National Innovation Award for Economic Contribution from the National Innovation Agency (NIA) —
one of Thailand’s most prestigious honors recognizing outstanding innovation and positive economic impact.
This award represents more than just a trophy.
It’s a symbol of belief that Thai innovation can truly go global, inspiring creativity, sustainability, and growth through homegrown ideas.
